Our Middle School 8th-Grade Champions took a field trip to Saddleback College for a tour on Friday, October 3, 2025.
Visiting colleges during middle school can have a powerful and lasting impact on our champions, helping them build early awareness of future opportunities. These visits spark curiosity, broaden horizons, and make the idea of higher education feel real and attainable. By walking on a college campus, hearing from students, and seeing classrooms and labs, middle schoolers begin to picture themselves in that environment. This exposure can boost motivation, encourage goal setting, and help them understand the connection between their current efforts and future success. Early college visits lay the foundation for informed decision-making and inspire our champions to aim higher as they plan their educational journey.
