BrightLife Kids is a CalHOPE program, fully funded by the State of California that supports the behavioral health of every family living in California with kids ages 0-12, at no cost. Kids aged 0-12 get free, expert coaching for sleep issues, worry, social skills, and more.

The cyber safety seminar for parents is a 90-minute, engaging, and eye-opening presentation about what is really going on in our children's digital world. The seminar will prepare parents to supervise their children on social media sites effectively, protect them from online threats, and bring technological balance back to homes. The presentation is taught by law enforcement officers and educators who have extensive experience working with children and who are also parents.
Topics covered during the presentation:
• Current apps kids are using and what you need to know about them
• Risks associated with popular social media sites
• "Sexting" and online predators
• How to set expectations and consequences
• How to monitor online activity
• Parental controls and privacy settings
